The Thinking Fund is a registered South African non-profit company and a Section 18A approved Public Benefit Organisation. We exist to give young people the experiences, mentors and tools that will shape how they think, and what they create.

When you support us, you're not just giving money, you're opening a door for a young person to discover their creativity, their voice, and their ability to think differently.
You're helping a student attend a workshop where they'll paint for the first time, or join a Thinking Academy session where they'll learn to solve problems in ways they never imagined.
Every contribution, big or small, fuels real, tangible change. We've already seen how a single bursary led one student to graduate, join our team, and thrive as an independent creative.
That's the ripple effect.
Your support helps us go further, reach more, and light sparks where they're needed most.
We believe every young South African deserves a door opened to their potential.
We invest in how people think, the most compounding skill of all.
We use art as the bridge between curiosity, expression and opportunity.
We grow stronger when artists, patrons and youth move together.
